I was fortunate enough to know Benie when I was in college at Kent State. He opened his hoem to me to visit and even allowed me to venture to New York on a family vacation.

"Crusty" yet lovable, I am so sad t osee of his passing.

Dear Aunt Ann, Jeannie, Joanie, David, and Donna, My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I am glad I could come home for the service. I remember the beautiful playhouse Uncle Bernie built for the kids. I was always in awe of his building talent and my mom was proud of his accomplishments. Some talent surely rubbed off on my brother. I will always remember playing "Uncle Bernie's Coming" on the stairs, as he came down to scare us.
